How do I join the program?

You must be referred by your social worker or representative of a social service agency who works closely with you. You can call our office for enrollment information.

What are the eligibility requirements?

There are three basic eligibility requirements:

• A Ward (in-care) of DC, MD, or VA foster care system
• Between the ages of 17-20
• Must be willing to make a commitment to fulfill the requirements of the program

How long can I remain with the organization?

Once you have successfully enrolled, there is no expiration date as to how long you can access our services. Blessed Haven wants to provide a "forever network" for you even after you emancipate from the foster care system. However, you can be discharged if you are no longer striving towards any of your goals.

How can I donate to Blessed Haven?

We offer several different ways to donate to our organization. You can either send your donation by maill or PayPal. Click here for further information.

What happens to the money I donate?

As a 501c(3) organization, Blessed Haven must use all monetary funds received for the sole purposes of covering our expenses.

I need community service hours for graduation, how do I volunteer with the organization?
